CHAPTER 6 PG-FP4 OPERATION IN STANDALONE MODE

[ Checksum > ]
When the Enter button is pressed next, the checksum value (entire flash memory area of the
target device) of the target device connected to the PG-FP4 is read. The read checksum
value will be displayed on the message display Notes 2, 3 .

[ Blank check > ]
When the Enter button is pressed next, blank check of the target device connected to the
PG-FP4 is executed Note 3 .

[ Signature > ]
When the Enter button is pressed next, the signature of the target device connected to the
PG-FP4 is read. The device name is displayed on the message display.

[ Prog Area > ]
When the Enter button is pressed next, the valid memory area (Area 0 or Area 1) is changed
if the 2 MB user program area is used as two independent 1 MB memory areas (Area 0 and
Area 1).

Prog Area now: 0 (The valid memory area is changed from Area 1 to Area 0 .)
If the 2 MB area is used as one user program area, the valid memory area cannot be
changed by using this menu.

Check the memory area currently selected, by using Prog Area of Option Setting.
Notes 1. Download the user program in advance in the GUI software mode.
2. This command is valid only with a single-power-supply flash memory microcontroller. If any other
microcontroller is used, this command is not displayed.
3. This is valid for the programming area (Chip, Block and Area) currently set for the PG-FP4.
